Terminal 1 International Retail Upgrade Project

Perth Airport has commenced work on a major overhaul to the international passenger journey that will transform the retail and F&B spaces across two levels.

The new outlets will greatly improve the outbound international customer experience at T1 International. The project will be completed by 2025.

Venues coming to Perth Airport:

Ground Level (Departures)

  • Heys Luggage: In partnership with Smarte Carte, Heys proudly launches its first retail store in Australia at T1 International. Founded in Canada, Heys is renowned for its innovative, stylish, and lightweight travel products, designed to elevate the journey for today’s modern traveller.

Level 1 (Departures)

  • Gage Roads Sports Bar: Delaware North has collaborated with Gage Roads Brew Co to develop the first Gage Roads Sports Bar. The venue will feature multiple digital screens, a pub-style menu, an Entertainment Arcade, and showcase WA produce and Gage Roads craft beers and ciders, creating a sports lover’s paradise with a family-friendly atmosphere.
  • Hungry Jacks: A reimagined Hungry Jacks store will include self-order kiosks and operate 24 hours a day. It will offer barista-made coffee, a devoted breakfast menu, and a family-friendly environment, providing passengers with a reliable and value-laden dining option.
  • The Social: This community-based café will partner with Little Owl Coffee Roasters to offer locally roasted coffee and live entertainment. The Social will focus on creating a vibrant atmosphere with a central bar featuring local beverages, celebrating the distinct attributes of West Coast hospitality.
  • Discover Perth (Megastore): Discover Perth offers international tourists a chance to take home a piece of Australia, while also providing Australians with gifts they can proudly share. An immersive shopping experience that captures the essence of Perth and Western Australia, featuring a curated selection of authentic, high-quality and affordable gifts.  The new store will feature an expanded offering, including fashion, eyewear and travel accessories.

Level 2 (Departures - after security)

  • Matso’s Brewhouse:: Matso’s Brewhouse will be the first WA hospitality venue for Matso’s outside Broome. It will feature Matso’s Ginger and Mango Beer, WA produce, and a Pan Asian-influenced menu. The family-friendly restaurant and bar will also offer Matso’s-branded merchandise, providing a comfortable place for travellers.
  • WA Cellar: A bar and casual dining concept created bespoke for Perth Airport, will evoke a sense of Western Australia through both its design and its menu. The decor draws inspiration from the local landscape with ‘cave’ and ‘rock’ elements, alongside burnished copper and aged patinas for a raw, industrial feel.
  • Roll’d: A much-loved Aussie brand, the fast, fresh Vietnamese concept Roll’d will bring its signature dishes such as Seafood Pho, BBQ Chicken Soldiers® and Vietnamese iced coffee to the hungry travellers of Perth.
  • Co & Co: At Co & Co, diners can expect to be treated to locally roasted coffee and a signature cocktail menu including the ‘Wild West’ signature cocktail using WA Swan River Distillery Miners gin, paired with tacos, bao buns and sweet treats. The menu spotlights some of Western Australia’s finest wines and beers, and there will be a focus on WA produce and producers in all food dishes.
  • Sushi Jiro: Sushi Jiro will make history as the first Sushi specific outlet at Perth Airport’s Terminal 1 International and specialises in modern Japanese cuisine. Sushi Jiro strives to curate an inviting sushi dining environment with a uniquely modern-classic Japanese theme, beautiful visual appeal, and the highest-quality fresh ingredients.
  • Natural Collective: Natural Collective celebrates the growing demand for high-quality, natural textiles. The product range features premium garments and accessories made from the finest Australian-sourced merino, possum, merino, linen, alpaca, silk, bamboo and recycled materials. Natural Collective is dedicated to showcasing Australian-made products and will prioritise sourcing locally-made items from WA.
  • curi.o.city: A premium gifting brand where customers can pick up everything from clothing, swimwear to plush toys and stationery, from locally sourced, exclusive and iconic brands. Operated by WHSmith, this store will be the first of its kind in Australia.
